12.13 Productions is pleased to announce the cast of "A Christmas Story"!!
Ralph (Narrator) - Clinton Hammond - Clinton reprises the role of adult Ralph. He also plays the part of the tree lot salesman, Red Ryder and delivery man. Clinton returned to community theatre about 5 years ago and has acted with several local theatres. Critically acclaimed for his one man performance in "This Wonderful Life" and for his portrayal of Mitch Albom in "Tuesdays with Morrie, Clinton has also received WODL awards for his sound work for several city productions. He has even been cast in a variety of local movies. You can catch Clinton performin and hosting "Open Mic", Mondays at the Manchester Pub.
Ralphie - Aaron Hrastovec - Aaron is back as "Ralphie", the role for which he won both the Theatre Windsor Youth Award and the Western Ontario Drama League Young Actors Award. Aaron is passionate about theatre. Since making his debut in Theatre Windsor's production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"for which he received a Best Actor nomination, Aaron has appeared in several local productions for Theatre Alive and Windsor Light Music Theatre.
The Old Man - Peter Hrastovec - Peter is back in the role of "The Old Man" for which he garnered a Best Supporting Actor nomination. Peter is a local lawyer who jumped back into community theatre playing Reverend Hopkins in Theatre Windsor's "Best Christmas Pageant Ever"; Juror Number 3 in Actor's Theatre of Windsor's "Twelve Angry Men" and Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird. Peter is Aaron's dad.
Mom - Sarah FitzGerald - Sarah reprises her role as "The Mom" for which she was nominated as Best Actress. In March 2010, Sarah directed "Wit" for 12.13 Productions. She has been in numerous local productions including "The Odd Couple", "Every Christmas Story Ever Told", and "It's a Wonderful Life". Sarah is married to Clinton Hammond.
Miss Shields - Norma Coleman - No stranger to community theatre, Norma has had the privilege of appearing on stage in Toronto and Windsor. She has appeared in a number of roles and a variety of shows including: Dr. Martha Livingston in "Agnes of God"; Glinda/Auntie Em in "The Wizard of Oz"; Clairee in "Steel Magnolias"; Mrs. Robinson in "The Graduate"; Olive Madison in "The Odd Couple" and most recently Dr. Vivian Bearing in "Wit". When not working in Theatre, Norma spends her days being Mayor Eddie Francis' Chief of Staff.
Flick - Nathan Tavolieri-Essex - This will be Nathan's first full production outside of school plays. He came to the auditions looking to get the part of "Flick" and was very happy to get the role.
Schwartz - Quinn Falkner - Quinn has been involved backstage for two productions with The Riverfront Theatre Company, "Tom Sawyer" and "Aladdin". This will be Quinn's first acting assignment.
Ester Jane - Madeline Doornaert - Madeline is best known for her musical talents - singing for five years, piano for eight years, guitar for two years - she was selected to participate in the Provincial Kiwanis Festival in Waterloo. This will be her first theatrical role.
Helen - Megan Brian - Megan has been involved with the Little Tomato theatre group's productions of "Wizard of Oz" and "Oliver". She has also danced with Windsor Dance Experience and performed in her school production of "Little Mermaid".
Farkas - Marlon Bengle - Marlon is a student at Walkerville Collegiate Institute and is part of the troupe that will be performing in Scotland for a Fringe Festival in August, 2010. He is involved with community theatre having just completed "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" for Windsor Light Music Theatre. Marlon is also a stand up comedian, writing and performing his own material.
Randy - We are still looking for a 7 - 9 year old boy to play the part of "Randy".

| Norma Set for "Wit", The Shaving of the Head |
WINDSOR: June 18, 2010 – 12.13 Productions proudly presents the Pulitzer Prize winning play, “WIT” . Norma Coleman, Chief of Staff to Mayor Eddie Francis by day, plays lead character, Dr. Vivian Bearing, and on Tuesday, June 22nd she shaved her head in preparation for the role.
The media was invited to witness the “shaving of the head” at the KATNANDU SALON, 1670 Wyandotte Street East on Tuesday, June 22nd at 9:00 a.m. Cast and crew members were also in attendance.
Norma Coleman turned this event into a fundraiser with proceeds going to the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation....$3000 was raised.
Produced by 12.13 Productions and directed by Sarah Fitzgerald, “WIT” opened at the Capitol Theatre on Friday, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. “WIT” is an uncompromising, uplifting experience of an extraordinary woman’s last struggle with cancer.
